BeerMe! is a collectible card game printed by a family printing company that's been running since 1911. Every card is a real object — with its own unique code, linked to a real beer from a real brewery.
It's the only card game that doesn't work unless you leave the house. That's not a limitation. That's the entire point.

◉ The argument
Before the arrival of the printing press, knowledge belonged to the elite and was a closely guarded secret. Then Gutenberg arrived with his invention and allowed this information to disseminate out to everyone. A farmer could read the same words as a king. That is not a technology story. That is a community story — and it started with printing.
Beer has been doing the same quiet work for just as long. Beer halls, back tables, taprooms. No algorithm decided who you sat with. You showed up, you shared a table, and you belonged. Every revolution worth having was argued out over a pint before it was ever written down.
And then we traded rooms for feeds. We became reachable and we got lonelier. Infinite content, nobody actually in the room with you. We think that is a mistake. We are not interested in politely disagreeing with it — we want to build the other thing.
Community isn't something a platform can manufacture. It has to be earned — card by card, pour by pour, conversation by conversation. The same way it's been earned since the first press and the first pub table.
◉ The first set
Every color image ever printed — every magazine, every poster, every video game box that's come off our floor since 1911 — is made from four inks. Cyan, magenta, yellow, black. Lay them over each other in register and you get everything else.
So at Printer's Ale, we named our four core beers after them. The first BeerMe! collectible card set is the same separations poured. Collect all four and you've got full color.

◉ How it works
A card rides along with the six-pack. Cyan card, Cyan six-pack. No mystery boxes, no loot crates, no paying us for the chance at nothing. You bought a beer. The card came with it.
Every card carries its own QR code and its own serial number — there is exactly one of each in the world. Scan it and it drops into your library with its points attached. It is yours from then on.
Land in Nashville and BeerMe! shows you which breweries near you have cards on the shelf right now. This is the part that requires shoes. We are unapologetic about that.
Points travel with the card, hand to hand, the way meaning always has. Climb the leaderboard if you want. Or just hand a rare Black to someone who has been hunting one for a year and watch what that does to a Tuesday.
◉ For breweries
We are not a marketing vendor. We are a hundred-year-old print shop with a brewery in the back, and we would rather build a network than sell you an impression. Your cards carry your art and your code. The front is shared, because the whole point is that we are in this together.
Free. Forever. No subscription, no premium tier, no paying to look at cards you already own. If we ever charge a collector to open their own library, we have lost the plot.

◉ From the taproom
I love the physical part of this. I'm a trading card collector and now I have a new collection game that goes perfectly well with my love of craft beer. These cards make beer drinking more fun than ever!
As the owner of a small brewery, it's hard for me to generate the buzz that a larger brewery can. These cards give me a talking point and a reason for people to visit, the location feature and points per card are a real plus for us.
Everyone loves a task, a goal, something to strive towards. These cards provide a real physical endpoint to a search and are a fun way to reward people when they either visit your taproom in person or even purchase your beer in the market. What a fun concept!
◉ The first run
The first 5,000 cards are on the press right now — and they won't last. Get on the list and you'll be first to know the ship date, which breweries are carrying them, and how to claim No. 0001 before anyone else even hears the presses running. We're not building an app so you can collect alone in the dark glow of a phone. We're building a reason to look up.
One email when the sheets come off the press. Nothing else. Unsubscribe any time.
